The Deckel LKD tool room milling machine was manufactured by Friedrich DECKEL in the 1970's and 80's. With a focus on milling machines and machine tools, the German manufacturer existed from 1903 to 1994, before being acquired by DMG Mori Seiki.
The Deckel LKD is a Jig grinding and boring machine with a table surface area of 300 mm x 600 mm. It is equipped with incremental guide lines with accuracy 0.001 mm, a round table, a 2-axis digital readout DRO by HEIDENHAIN, a miscrocope, as well as a clock-indicator. It also features a profile grinding head, a boring head, and drilling and grinding spindles.
