INDEX ABC Turning Centre
The INDEX ABC is a multi-turret CNC turning centre, capable of producing simple, automatically turned parts to complex pieces involving different ID and OD’s. Dimensions for the ABC vary greatly, but the basic measurements are: 2900 mm(l) x 1200 mm(W) x 1650 mm(H) and total weight is 5500 kg. Installed power varies from 12 – 34 kW, related to set up.

The ABC INDEX has a number of variations to suit individual company needs. Variations include two turrets with turret one having seven tool stations and a second turret holding six stations, synchronised for high speed parts production. Other variations include a single turret set up with eight tool stations designed for quick tool changes. The motor spindle is powered by a high torque, 20kW unit which is frequency controlled for accurate speed monitoring whilst maintaining torque.
