The JOHN DEERE 2850 is a utility tractor manufactured from 1986 until 1994 in JOHN DEERE factories both in Mannheim (Baden-Württemberg), Germany and Rosario, Argentina. The basic model of the JD 2850 comes with a 2-wheel drive chassis although it can be upgraded to a mechanical front wheel drive, 4-wheel drive chassis if required (see JOHN DEERE 2850 review for further details). It comes with hydrostatic power steering and wet disc brakes as standard and for a fair price. For safety there is a roll-over protection structure but a Sound-Gard or CC2 cab can be fitted as optional extras.
