Three Pennsylvania Engineering Corporation 200ton Q-BOP steel making vessels (1974/1978) Each vessel equipped with shaft mounted drive, trunnion bearings and lubrication system and designed to rotate at a maximum speed of 1.5RPM through 360 deg. Furnace volume 5788ft3, partial hood combustion with wet scrubber. Four 130/40 ton Hot Metal Charing cranes. 90 Ton Hot metal mixer and Hot Metal slag skimmer, Eight station alloy mixer with Weight Tronix digital readouts with sixteen alloy bins, wire alloy feeders and induction stirring. Ladle repair and heating station including refractory inspection repair and slide gate maintenance, Ten 90 ton capacity steel ladles and ladle transfer cars. BOS plant ran when removed from service. |
