In combination with our JCI 140, the system enables the measurement of live conductors with voltages up to ± 60 kV DC through direct connection with an accuracy of ± 2% (nominal) with minimal stress on the device under test. The high input impedance and low capacitance of the JCI 146 are suitable for more accurate DC voltage measurements. Other conventional techniques for direct measurement of high voltages (eg, high voltage meters, capacitive and resistive divider networks, etc.) often provide inaccurate results due to load effects caused by the measurement setup.
