Part of the HOMAG Group, BRANDT has been a leading specialist in the production of edging machines for well over half a century. A worldwide operation, they work with customers in over 90 countries.
A global corporation today, BRANDT has humble origins as a small craftsman shop founded by Leopold Brandt in 1932. The company steadily grew until, in 1955, it began to supply machinery to the manufacturing industry as HEINRICH BRANDT Maschinenbau. The sixties decade saw the company produce their first self-designed edge-banding model and then expand their product range to include double-sided edge-banding machines. BRANDT was incorporated into the HOMAG Group in 1976.
Today, BRANDT employs over 5,000 people and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of wood processing machines, enjoying a global market share of almost 30%. The machines manufactured by BRANDT are used to produce a variety of products including home and office furniture, laminate flooring, windows, doors and stairs.
BRANDT produces machines for all levels of use, from one-man operations to full scale production facilities. These include through-feed edge banding machines and table-top varieties.
